I received the FitBit Flex as a gift. It seems to measure 'activity level' fairly accurately even if it only reports out in steps or calories expended. I think it is best used in combination with tracking your caloric intake.



I track my calories fairly well during the day and then slack off for dinner. With the FitBit and before dinner calorie tracking, I can get an idea if I can have that after dinner snack or not.



The data is pretty basic but, in conjunction with calorie intake tracking...this is a worthwhile little device.
