When I first tried these on I put in ear plugs and vacuumed the living room rug. Even though it didn't seem loud I had to touch the vacuum to be sure it was on! In the pond they perform fine like the music is part of the water. I turn it on and forget it. I have done 4 miles of crawl with this thing and haven't had to adjust it once.

After about 6 hours of use it seems, at least I hope, that mine are defective as they have started buzzing kind of like a blown speaker would. We'll have to wait and see how customer service treats me but this is a bit of a disappointment.

I was training for a HIM and was dreading my long swims so I bought the SwiMP3. Best thing I could do. It ended my boredom and made me actually look forward to my swim workouts!
The SwiMP3 underwater MP3 player is an incredible audio experience. Imagine listening to hours of your own music during your swim workout. The SwiMP3's innovative sound transfer technology offers exception underwater sound quality. Standard players rely on the transmission of sound through air or water causing the swimmer to perceive only muffled noise. The SwiMP3 uses bone conduction - the direct transfer of sound vibrations from the cheek bone to the inner ear - to provide the swimmer with exceptional sound clarity. The SwiMP3 is fully waterproof and can be used with all the competitive swim strokes.
