"When I first tried these on I put in ear plugs and vacuumed the living room rug. Even though it didn't seem loud I had to touch the vacuum to be sure it was on! In the pond they perform fine like the music is part of the water. I turn it on and forget it. I have done 4 miles of crawl with this thing and haven't had to adjust it once.

After about 6 hours of use it seems, at least I hope, that mine are defective as they have started buzzing kind of like a blown speaker would. We'll have to wait and see how customer service treats me but this is a bit of a disappointment. "waltor

Value

A bit pricey but a unique product. More storage might make it seem less expensive but I don't think you really need it. I figure you can get 5-6 hours of music on there. If I swim the English Channel I deal with repeating my playlist!!!

The company responded to my email promptly and gave me a return authorization. I'd have to say the customer service so far is as much as I could expect.

Performance

If you like music loud you might be disappointed but I think the level is fine. Earplugs help a great deal.

Strengths

Bone conduction sound, no ports that water CAN get in so I feel confident it won't get wet like my freestyle did.

Weakness

Price, slow to charge (not big deal), can be difficult to find the buttons when using. I don't think it is actually stereo.
