2008 was my first tri season and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a HRM. I thought this would be a great buy for the money, because I could at least use it for all three events.

Reading my HR accurately at all times has been problematic, but it does eventually normalize and I can at least somewhat trust the readings at the end of the workout.

It would be fair for me to point out that I have not contacted Customer Service regarding this problem. Maybe I just need a better chest strap or there is something they could do.

However, the eventual normalization of the readings and my plan to upgrade in the near future makes this something I'm willing to live with.

I would love more data, but this is a great HRM. I would still use if I had a GPS because of the ability to swim in when racing.

I love this for a begginer item. I usually like all the bells and whistles when I buy things. But with this, it is important to be able to use and analyize the information given. Too much info can be busy work. This products does just what you need.

Solid watch for the price range. About $25 more than the next model down. If the uploading and the look are important go for it. If not you may want to save the few bucks. I like the look!

Overall I'm very pleased with this product and would purchase one again; however, it might be necessary to consider a higher end model to get sufficient feedback (user dependent)
