"I love my 405 and train with it all the time, on the bike and while running."louiskie

I didn't have any trouble installing it. The bezel takes a little (like 10 mins) getting used to but they have a set of "lessons" you can take to help you through it and familiarize yourself.

Once you are used to it its very easy to use.

My bezel is looking a little worn after almost a year. It is not a problem but looks a little scuffed up. So it gets a 4, not a 5.

Fits my normal sized wrist just fine. If you have an abnormally large or small wrist the strap might not work for you.

Fits like a watch. 'nuf said.

It is what it is...not a lot you can change with it.

I'd prefer it to be cheaper but still worth it.

Hey, I like it and it is 1000X nicer looking than the 305. I actually wear it around like a watch during the day.

Love it. Very accurate (except instant speed in wooded areas).

Overall distance is spot on with the 405. I love the fact that, unlike other Garmins, you can actually wear it around when you are NOT exercising. I have heard lots of people say they prefer the 305, but IMO this is a far better, more versatile WATCH (not computer strapped to your wrist). Advantage over sport watches that need a foot pod is that this doesn't. Silly as that may seem, I have several pairs of running shoes (home, work, etc.) and would need several foot pods. Plus you have to calibrate foot pods. I love the GPS and find that having it beep every mile helps me pace appropriately and gives great feedback during a workout.

Not waterproof. Bezel can be a little twitchy. Maybe a little pricy still.
