Ease of use
This thing is fantastic. Just put it on, hit start and go
Quality of Construction
Strong and light. The band appears to be the weak link. It broke the first day, but Garmin sent me a new one right away, free.
Update: 2011. It fell off of my bike, cracked the glass. Garmin told me it would be $99 to fix it. Be careful!
Fit
Perfect. It looks big, but is not really on the wrist, and is very light. Doesn't get in the way

Durability
As mentioned above, did have an issue with the band but Garmin's customer service dept. took care of the issue immediately. Also the glass broke when it fell off bike
Value
It is expensive, but worth it to me

Not the prettiest thing at the starting line, but that's not really the point is it?

Performance
Love it. Works great both run and bike. Haven't tried it yet in the pool

Ease of use, motivating, wireless transfer of data to computer and to the garmin website. Incredible range of variations
Love that it is constantly upgradable.
Weakness
Still a bit larger than I hoped, but I'm sure that will decrease with technology in the future. GPS and HRM do not work in water I'm told, but seems to be a problem with technology, not only this device
