"This trainer was a gift and so far, I like it. The resistance is just ok. I can get a decent workout on this trainer by changing gears but don't expect to do any big hill simulation. It is quiet enough that I can spin in the living room and not wake the kids with the TV at a moderate level. I am happy as a beginning cyclist."Ahedges

took like 5 minutes from out of the box to on the bike.

I'm happy with this item so far. It help give me a good workout during the nasty Michigan winter.
