"Awesome training tool. Light, long battery life, all the metrics you need. You might be a bit poorer but I you won't be disappointed. "Tridave77

The watch takes you through initial set-up, which is easy. If you've never used Garmin products before, you'll need to set up your Garmin Connect account and add the ANT+ plugin, which is also fairly straight forward.

If you're new to training with a GPS/HR like me, then there's plenty to learn. But to get the watch doing the basics is really easy. The e-manual is helpful and as you start to train with the watch you can really dial in the metrics that work best for you.

Great, so far.

At first I thought the watch was going to be too big and bother me over long distances, but after training with it a while you don't even notice. Despite it's size, it is very light.

Good, it's surprising light. I don't even notice I'm wearing it.

It seems pretty tough. I've dropped it, smacked it on doors, etc. No problems.

It's expensive, but I find it an invaluable training tool.

Well, it's a giant computer on your wrist so don't expect a whole bunch of compliments from the opposite sex.

In my opinion, this watch has everything you need to take your IM training to the next level. I don't know how I trained without it before. 20 hour battery life is key. The wireless transfer of training data is Garmin Connect is awesome.

As far as I know, this watch has the longest battery life out there, which is great for IM raceday. It has the potential to provide basically every metric for running/biking that you could ever need. It is easy to operate and when combined with the Garmin Connect site, it will give you all the training information you could possibly want.

As with all GPS/HR, it's still pretty big. No HR in the water. On the upper end of the price scale. You now have one less excuse for not kicking ass.
