"As an entry level helmet, this is a good buy for the price. If you are going to be riding out on roads with traffic or at high speeds, I would really recommend you get a helmet that has a safety certification on it. However seeing the details and construction of this extremely inexpensive helmet, it makes me wonder how much they mark up the ones they sell at high-end bike stores! The snap on/snap off sun shield is a really good feature for people who wear eyeglasses.

OK. Kind of flashy and cheap looking.

Strengths

Highly adjustable. The sun shield attaches with strong magnets, so it is easy to add or remove. It's a good solution for people or kids who ride with eyeglasses, because they have a sun shade and bug screen, but don't have to remove their glasses. The helmet is lightweight like a more expensive helmet, with good ventilation and a lot of adjustment points for the straps. Also includes nice touches like a cloth wrap to secure the ends of the straps. The packaging was professional, although the instructions were definitely not written by fluent English speakers.

Weakness

You might find this is more suitable for a teen than a serious adult athlete. Based on the price, I'm not certain whether it meets safety standards. No safety standard certifications are mentioned.
