"This is a superb value, good looking and affordable HRM for someone who doesn't need all the bells and whistles but still wants data upload capability, running speed, distance and cadence data."boomslang

The watch automatically detects your chest strap or footpod when entering training mode.

Training sessions can be uploaded either to Garmin software on your PC or to Garmin Connect on the Web (or both). Very easy to configure.

Well laid out menu structure which is easy to navigate. Easy to get into training mode. Can be fiddly to use when wearing gloves, though.

Audible training alarms for interval training.

Looks like it could take a few knocks without looking like a brick on your wrist. I like the inset face which prevents it from getting scratched.

Chest strap was comfortable and I didn't notice it during long runs of above 1.5 hours. The footpod is small and light and fits securely to the running shoe.

So far so good. Been swimming with it and no problems.

Hard to beat with a watch, chest strap and foot pod coming in at €130. Polar products are far more expensive than this.

(4)

Great looking watch in a market where manufacturers don't pay a lot of attention to looks.

Foot pod claims to be 95% accurate without calibration but can be calibrated. Haven't tested it for accuracy but it is definately consistent in its readings.

Data upload following a training session is a breeze. Just plug in the USB key and it automatically synchs with the watch and transfers any session data not already uloaded.
Real value for money.
One of the better looking HRM's out there.

It is not difficult to accidently switch the watch into a dfferent mode. If this happens during training, session data may be lost.
Session data during interval training is not stored.
Heart rate levels are only above, in or below target heart rate (no zones 1 - 5).
The data transfer is not Mac compatible.
Didn't test the bike sensor so can't comment.
