New to tri's -BUY this bike. If you like tri's you can get a big money bike next year. Buy this bike to ride on rain days and spare your nice bike. Don't buy this bike if you have the money and are serious about winning.

Everyone with a bike should have a repair stand for bike maintenance.

I very pleased with this bike. I'll definitely be riding it for 1-3 years and then decide whether to upgrade. For now, it is perfect for me, and more bike than this would be wasted on me.

I bought this disc after trying the wheelbuilder covers. The covers really helped with my time but didn't seem to ever fit right even though I paid extra to have them "Custom-cut" for my wheelset. The Renn disc has no issues. It rides great and has made a big improvement in my times especially on flat courses. The wheel look great on my bike and makes it look new again. My wife uses a ZIPP disc. It is impossible for me to offer a head to head comparison, but at 3x the cost of the RENN I don't think she has much, if any, more of an advantage. I regret buying the covers but if your budget is that tight they may be worth the investment. In my case, the covers are simply taking up space and collecting dust.

If you are looking for training and want to train on something that requires you to use skills and balance, rather than just pedal away, these are a steal. At a great price and a solid build, you can't go wrong. Want a little resistance, change gears.

Great shoe, especially for those with shin slints. I usually change pairs once every six months. I've been through over 10 pairs of supernova controls. Don't mess with success right? ;)
