  • Comments: They make the sprint racers wait around until the international race is complete to hand out awards. Then they hand out the international race awards first.

  • Comments: Longleaf isn't an obscure little race anymore. It sold out this year, and since its in my backyard, I'll probably always participate. The Oly is pretty competitive, with most of the field finishing just over 2 hours.

  • Comments: Parking for the race was in a field which contained "prickers". After removing them from my feet the area around the lake had fire ants. Other than the foot issues the race was organized and will be on my list for next year.
