  • Comments: This race is really growing in popularity; it's becoming kind of the unofficial end of season race for a lot of people, I think. Really great atmosphere.

  • Comments: It was pretty cool, so we didn't stay really for any of the post-race food or activities. Instead a bunch of us went to a local restaurant for a great breakfast buffet (good pick!) Setting it up as a group competition really made it fun. The groups were on a pretty competitive level, so nobody really 'ran away with it'. :) And it seemed that all times influenced the team result so that was cool. Good time had by all.

  • Comments: This is a fun race; a real holiday spirit, a flat course, and the day was stunning. My fantasy goal for this year was to try and run a sub-8 minute 10K, and I managed to do that today. The surroundings were also spectacular; not a cloud in the sky, dead calm river and tidal pool (the latter partially covered with ice), the rising sun tinging all the marble monuments with pink. . .just beautiful.
