  • Comments: A great race for my first Tri! I will continue to compete in the Cap Tex Tri as long as I can... hopefully not in the First Tri category. Yea, 2019 will be my 13th First Tri, yippee!

  • Comments: The distance was too easy - but hey, it was my first tri and I needed the distance to be easy so I could figure out how everything works! There were plenty of times i was not sure what I was supposed to do before the race, but once the race started everything was very well directed by staff. Good swag. PWO food/bevs OK. Popcicles ROCK! Pizza and vending machine crackers? eh - but standard.
