  • Comments: Volunteers were awsome, thanked them on the way out and loved them large on the way home. Food was good. Comradery and atmosphere was awsome. What else can you say when you and a hundred other people brave the elements and finish an adventure??

  • Comments: Despite all the hassles, this was a personal best race for me at this distance. I always felt strong and in control - although a little worried about frostbite and bronchitis - wasn't an issue. Will never use plain gel foils on a long run again. Flasks are the way to go! I came I saw I ran like a fiend! I am windnsnow!

  • Comments: It was too cold. Beat last year's time by 26 minutes...and the conditions were better then! The best part of the race was the music in my ears thanks to John. That and the last K where I finally put everything together, pushed away the cold and the pain and just ran. First 1/3 of the race was good too, I enjoyed myself and felt like I knew what I was doing. As I heard before, this race was hard, but it won't be -34 at Ironman...It might be +34! Crap!

  • Comments: Running Room managed well with few volunteers, but there was next to no support on the course. Just as well I didn't need any help. Overall, I was pretty content
