  • Comments: So I didn't have any problems on the course - other than waiting an extra hour in line to swim. But my hubby (who spent the majority of the time walking around the transition area) explained to me that it was a "monkey sh!t fest" and was the worst organized race he had ever seen. The tranisition area was not closed and not only were the racers going in and out throughout the day spectators were as well. Evidently while I was swimming a large group of spectators were taking pictures with racer right in front of my bike - my husband almost had a heart attack thinking I would be out any minute and not able to get to my bike. Besides the transition being a cluster ****, the whole area was not set up well - you basically had to walk through transition to get anywhere and the ins and outs weren't intutively thought out. Not enough volunteers out on course or in transition. I just hope no one had anything stolen. Lastly, they had the kids race going on at the same time I was on the course,

  • Comments: It was a good race, lots of fun, and the set-up worked fine for me except for the late seeding, which I won't have to worry about next year.

  • Comments: Obviously, an arrow or something would have been nice where I took the wrong turn. However, I take responsibility for my F-up, and no hard feelings toward the race directors. They did a great job. Too bad it was so chilly! In the mid-40's coming out of the pool! BRrrrrrrrr!

  • Comments: Great race and overall I am pleased with my performance. Had I not dropped my chain, I probably would have beat my 1:30 goal for the event. I am most delighted with my swim, considering how daunting this leg of the sport was a year ago.
