  • Comments: First time we had done this one, small, short race, but well organized and competitive. Lots of amenities, good food post-race, dozens of door prizes. AG medals were nice as well. Good first-time race with a short pool swim.

  • Comments: It was so cool to do a Tri with BEAR and Dylan (Son of the bear). Dylan acted all cool but I think he had fun. He told me afterwards that I could get his third shawdow box so that he could put his Mardi Gras Half and this medal and bibs up in his room. He has 2 others up with half marathon medals. I was shocked and very excited to get Second Place!!! Of course it was only Annette and I in our age group. There are usually 4 of us and I end up being 4th. The medal is so cool. I was more excited about getting this medal than any I have ever gotten. :):):) TRI's are a lot harder for me than other events that I participate in because my swimming is not up to par yet. It's time for summer, so I can start swimming more.
