  • Comments: Fun little run, nice that I can just get up and run a 13.1 without getting too jacked up about it beforehand. A bit disorganized, perhaps because it was a new location this year. Aid stations a little iffy, and the busses back up to the mall were a clusterfuck. Perhaps they need more than 4 for 1,000 people, eh? Thankfully, Chris finished about 20 minutes ahead of me so I was able to get in line with him near the front. Otherwise, I may still be there.....

  • Comments: This is the first year with the new course. The last 40 some years the race had a different course. Last year (it seems) the residents near the start/finish complained enough to have the promoters change the course and take it up the road about 6 miles. The new course is rolling with lots of beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs along the PV peninsula. I had a great day and really enjoyed this race. There were a couple of minor issues with 2 of the aid stations. Nothing that couldn't be solved with a better volunteer briefing.

  • Comments: A nice race overall. If I lived out here, I would probably do it every year.
