  • Comments: Awesome volunteer support, organized, very much an attitude of "you can do it" as this Tri is geared toward empowering women to get out and Tri. This was felt throughout the race experience and added to the overall event in a really positive way. Loved the event and can't wait to do it again next year with friends I plan on recruiting to get out and do their first Tri! After I finished I waited for my sister to finish and then we headed over to the pool to cheer on the last group coming out of the pool. This has to be my favorite part of the event, we were giving high fives and really pumping them up as these were ladies who were new to this (and likely any event to it's liking) It was amazing and humbling to witness it.

  • Comments: I think this race has outgrown this venue and I probably would not do it again unless they capped the participants. The start felt chaotic as they tried to get people to the right place. If the swim start had been the same as last year, it would have been easier I think. But overall it is a great experience - everyone is so encouraging and I like the laid back, non-hyper competitive atmosphere.

  • Comments: This was my very first triathlon (I haven't even done a 5k yet!) and I had such a good time that I can't wait to do another. All of the practicing made me realize how much I enjoy bicycling and I plan on taking advantage of some of the bicycle shop rides that are offered in the near future.
