  • Comments: Well, I came in 10 minutes faster than I did last year and 4 minutes ahead of my projected time (thanks to a very good swim) so I can't complain. All in all I'm happy with the race even thought I didn't place in my age group. This tri usually brings in some real good competition so I can't be too sad about not placing when I beat my projected times.

  • Comments: Well, today is my 40th birthday! And I have never felt better. This was my longest tri event...I had my doubts on the swim, but when I finished the swim feeling the way I did today, it just makes the rest of the race feel so much better. I am just so happy that I stuck with it and decided to give this event a shot. It was so worth it and it is one that I want to do again. Shout out to all the volunteers---they are so positive and can really put a smile on your face! Whoo HOOOO!
