  • Comments: bbq dinner after. not very hungry anyways but brisket is never appealing to me after a workout. Would have been very good for race officials to scrub the steps for the water entry. several people slipped and it was hard to get in before the start of the wave. Hoping for under 2:30 and made it. Race had many more experienced participants than past tris that were full of beginners. ## of 138 women.

  • Comments: I will race next year and bring home some hardware of some sort. Happy with being top 15, but I know I am a better triathlete than what I showed at the race.

  • Comments: 1st olympic distance tri. Considering the challenge of the hills, I was happy with my performance.

  • Comments: Very well run race, the bike course was challenging but very scenic and kept you on your toes with gear changes. Only complaint is coming into transition from the bike course merged with traffic and the volunteers/cops did a sub-par job keeping cars from being close to cyclists. I had to slam on my brakes and stop before turning into transition because of cars here. I will be returning to this race at some point so I can really enjoy the course more than this round...
