  • Comments: This is a great beginner race. This wasn't a closed bike course but there were plenty of volunteers helping to direct traffic. They did a great job. I didn't have to stop once for traffic. The pool water was dangerously warm. I would recommend moving this one to the spring or the fall.

  • Comments: Run very well, this is for a great cause. I just wish I could have gotten a medal for being first in my age group. Volunteers helped control traffic VERY well. Kudos to them. They also helped kick my azz into gear during the run. Great first triathlon,

  • Comments: Perfect situation for beginners to get a taste of triathlon. I like the direction this race is headed!
