  • Comments: This is an excellent tri for those who want to try one without any pressures. The organizers set up a "class" the day before for those who wanted to know more about tri. Also during some segments of races, there were explanations of what was going on.

  • Comments: This was a nice event! There were tons of volunteers out there. They are making this race into a memorial for a triathlete named Jon Logan who died recently due to cancer. They will be renaming the race on his behalf for next year. He apparently was very involved in the triathlon community and he helped start up this race.

  • Comments: This was a well put on race, the venue was good, the volunteers were enthusiastic. Organization was very good. I would do this race again.

  • Comments: The course seemed a little longer then advertised. But otherwise a decent event that could be better if the transition wasn't on a gravel lot, but theres not many other options close enough to the beach. The bike was pretty nice with one traffic free lane to make passing easy and avoid drafting.

  • Comments: I was very impressed with both the volunteers and the spectators. I couldn't believe how many folks were out there soaked to their skin but not moving... that had to be rough. I didn't really like the way the parking/shuttle bus logistics go because we had to wait for the buses to start running again and then to arrive in order to get out of the rain and back to our car... then we had to drive all the way back in to get our bikes. Otherwise, a fun event and in nice weather it would be a very fast course.

  • Comments: Well organized race, good volunteers. Don't think they have the off site parking figured out. Race started late because athlete's could not get to the start in time. After the race, ended up riding my bike back to the car as the shuttle busses were few and far between.
