  • Comments: 1 minute slower than last year... not too bad considering that I was training for a marathon. I'm happy.

  • Comments: Great course with plenty of Volunteers to help out. Aid stations about every 1.5 miles. Good venue. Michigan Ave had unfinished construction so there was a brief bit through that mess.

  • Comments: I should have taken an extra Gu with me as I planned. I decided no to take it last minute as I didn't have an extra pocket. I would have taken it at mile 10 or 11 and maybe wouldn't have felt so crampy.

  • Comments: This is the first year they went from a fabulous 10-miler to the half. They said there were 1000 last year and over 2000 this year. Day was hot, but beautiful weekend. Course is really neat, better than I expected.
