  • Comments: The event was well organized and the course was very fair. A few minor adjustments would make it a perfect event.

  • Comments: I gave this race a 4 because even though it was first year, JP puts on a good event and he will work out the kinks. His schwag bags and post race food/raffles always outdo his local competition. We got blessed with with the weather, since early October can be horrendous in NY, instead it was bordering on being too warm.

  • Comments: The only reason why I gave it a 3 is because I think they have some kinks to work out after their first year. I already mentioned the swim. The bike ride was a bit confusing with having to stay left at some places which in retrospect makes some sense and they only gave away water at the aid stations (no Gatorade). That being said, it was a great race and very well organized for a first time event. The goody bag is awesome... complete with a hoodie and great drawstring bag. Some of the other organizers could learn a thing or two about give-aways from this guy.

  • Comments: For the inaugural race, a few bugs yet to be worked out, but overall a great race. I'd probably do this race again next year.
