Comments: I decided to take up triathlon training a few months ago on the advice of a friend who races. I ran a few 5K's around 10 years ago, but like many, college,a job, marriage, a kid, and other things helped me put on too many pounds. I started swimming,walking,and cycling in june at 232 pounds. On race day in Aug. weighed in at 210. No one's fault about the crummy weather but now I have to wait until Oct. 25 for my next tri at becomming a triathlete. Should I consider myself 2/3 of one now? Ha Ha!
