Overall course based on my ability: Just right

Comments: This was a really well organized race that was big but didn't feel TOO big. The course was pleasant and everything seemed to run smoothly, even though I didn't really take advantage of the buses to the start line, the gear check, etc. The medals are a nice high quality and the finisher shirts were nicer than most race shirts I get. This was my first big out of town race so I was nervous but everything was perfect.

Overall course based on my ability: Just right

Comments: I am so glad that early on I revised my mental goals from best case to worst case scenario. I knew I would have a tough race, and just wanted to get in under 2:20, which I did (chip time, anyway). It was much more important to me to stick with my friend - I was honestly worried about her. We thanked the volunteers, tried to enjoy the sights, and just got through it together.

Comments: This was my first race at this distance and really enjoyed it. Great course, great volunteers, etc. Will try and do it again next year.
