  • Comments: Race check in was ok, finish expo was a nightmare. Too small of an area with no signs or guidance of any kind. Gear pickup was placed in the center of the whole area surrounded by lines to the bathrooms, lines for T-shirt pickup, and lines for the beer garden. Finding the right line was really difficult. The road surface in some areas was a little rough to run on, especially the final downhill to the finish line. I ended up overextending my knee coming down the hill and had to limp my way to the finish and sit around all day after will ice on it. Not good! Overall it was a good race, just a little dissapointing that this one is not as organized as the other 2 races of the SD 1/2 marathon triple crown.

  • Comments: Beautiful run, with a nice hill to keep things interesting/challenging. Would definitely do again.
