  • Organised?Yes
  • Events on time?Yes

  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities? Good
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: This race is a blast--but tough. It is located on some of the toughest trails I have ever run, certainly too tough to bike on a good portion of the course. I got in some great hill work, passing lots of runners (and some bikers) while maintaining a mid-8:00 minute pace. The obstacles you cross are fun but challenging, and the finish through the long mud pit (on your belly) with your partner was a blast. Very well organized, free beer afterward, a ton of fun.

  • Comments: Great race, won my division, will definately want to compete in it next year. The web site did lie and tell me there was no technical mountain biking, there was a lot of very scary and technical mountain biking challenges, steepest longest hill I've ever tried and want to win the event again.

  • Comments: Lots of fun! Great show! Need more beer taps for the post race and stop being idiots about not letting people walk around with beer in their hands...sheesh! Overall...we had a ton of fun...we did some running, we did some biking, and we got DIRTY! :) Robin is now reinterested in riding her mountain bike :) She finished the course and said that she forgot how fun mountain biking was. The overall time is accurate. I couldn't believe we did so well in our division without training! Only 40 seconds separated us from 9th place...winners were 10 minutes up. If we actually trained...I think we could place :) All the 'split' times are estimates...kinda divided from what our overall time was...I wasn't wearing a watch, so I have NO IDEA if they are accurate!
