  • Comments: This race was well organized and the sign-in process was smooth. I liked that you could select your spot in the transition area as it rewards those who get there early to setup. I don't know if this is the norm or not as I have only done 2 races and the previous one had pre-set positions, but was not very organized.

  • Comments: A very nice little race. I loved the neighborhood feel. Great for first timers, of which there appeared to be quite a few. Only my third sprint ever, so it was a great fit for me. Organizers were a little slow getting the swim started, but with 3 PB's today, I have little to complain about. Things are starting to come together for me in this great sport. Swim, swim, swim, swim, and swim some more. This event took place in the middle of me fighting a chest cold.

  • Comments: Got us over to race start on time, and elite and first (my) wave stood around in the water getting cold for 15 minutes, then race director says "5 more minutes"..... jesus christ... wtf.... get with it! Besides that, race was very well organized. Prizes are cheesey though. A lot of people got DQ coffee mugs, and I got a little cheesey made in China desk clock that says "DQ Triathlon at Marlton Lakes Award Winner" on the base. 3rd in age group, 23rd overall... I'll take that for my 3rd triathlon ever! I think a little Scoogie magic rubbed off on me since he racked his bike next to mine ;-)

  • Comments: Fun little race. 4th year doing it. Great course for beginners and a good opportunity to go hard for the more experienced folks. Great feel to this race.

  • Comments: The race started late this year, for reasons they did not disclose. Other than that, I think everything went well. Nice to see what the race is really like after last year's weather shenanigans. I'm planning on making this the finale of every triathlon season.
