  • Comments: HORRIBLE race direction for the late finishers. That's why I gave it 2 stars, otherwise it would've earned 4 or 5. The bike leg is just absolutely gorgeous and the volunteers at both the run and bike aid stations were amazingly enthusiastic. It's too bad that impression was completely ruined for me in the last 1/2 mile of the race. Short version: if you're FOP/MOP/front of BOP then you will absolutely LOVE this race. If you're super slow like me, don't do it. Long version: I'm a pretty slow racer (finished in just over 4.5 hours) so by the time I got to the run there weren't too many people behind me. By that point, the run course had been deserted by the volunteers. As I was heading back for the last 1/2 mile, I had no idea where to go. Some guy who happened to be putting away some football equipment (not related to the race) pointed in the general direction of the finish line so I kept going. Another racer who was relaxing by the reservoir saw I was still going and kind of lost
