  • Comments: The course is one of the most beautiful anywhere. With the road being closed one can fully appreciate the peaceful of the surroundings. The event is very well organized and is an annual event for many MarathonManiacs from around the country. Lots of interesting people to chat with.

  • Comments: This is my fourth time at this race. The course is stunningly beautiful. I used to think this was a pretty fast course but the pounding from the long gradual descents and then the 2 mile long climb at mile 21 makes for a very painful experience. The shuttle bus system is more of a hassle than I am willing to deal with again. So unless I have a driver along I wouldn't come back.

  • Comments: Great local scenic race. But probably wouldn't do it again just because of all the damage to my body is too much.

  • Comments: This was the best organized race I have been to. Everything was on time and ran very smoothly. They put a golden foot sticker on the bib numbers of first timers, so they can give them extra encouragement and support. The dinner was really yummy and even with all the people the meal lines went very quickly because of the great set up. I would definitely recommend this race and I would do it again!

  • Comments: This is a must marathon for marathoners. Scenic, well run, organized. Race Director is a legend of the marathon community.
