  • Comments: This was a lot of fun. Gorgeous course. I would totally do this again. As long as your legs are in shape for some pounding, you can have a great race. I like the point to point aspect of it. And the spectators on the course, while not HUGE crowds, are very good. You seem some really fit mtn people at this race. The post race vibe is awesome. And it's pretty cheap- $40 the week before the race. Two salty enthusiastic thumbs up!

  • Comments: This is a great Colorado race that keeps getting bigger and faster. I did this in 2004 and since then it has grown and the caliber of racers has improved greatly!

  • Comments: Overall, a great race! The course is beautiful - about 5 miles unpaved, the rest on pavement, with great views of waterfalls and mountains. Definitely get there as early as possible, because the shuttle buses to the beginning get very backed up. The people on the last bus had to basically get off and start the race almost immediately.

  • Overall course based on my ability: Too easy

  • Comments: This was a really low key race. It started late because people were still getting on the bus. I was really frustrated and how confusing the start was...why bother having chips if everyone has the same start time? The scenery was good and the course was a fast one. I had plenty of water but they should offer Gu on the route (I had my own). Still waiting for the race results to be posted on-line and I'll finish my race report.
