  • Comments: Andie does a nice job. She had a lot of sponsors and had a lot of give-aways at the end. That being said I'm not a fan of pool swims with two directions in a lane. There is always an issue with passing. The transition being opened late was only a minor inconvenience. The course was well marked and had lots of Law Enforcement and volunteers to control traffic. That being said, there was a lot of traffic and that's scary when you are riding, let alone trying to pass another cyclist. The run? It's tough. Take it or leave it.

  • Comments: Tough course and cold weather, then post race activities were an hour late combined with the hour long drive all makes for a long day. Dont know if I'll do this race next year.

  • Comments: You could tell that a lot of pre-planning and organization had taken place. Everything ran smoothly during the event!

  • Comments: No tech shirts (Shipping issue). Poor swim organization. Ave after race stuff. I will give it credit for being a good hard course that challenges you, but that is about all I'll give it.

  • Comments: Course Volunteers were Military, ROTC, JROTC and Police. They were all great and I tried to thank all of them, so if I missed anyone, THANKS! They were all great and did an excellent job of traffic control. Some of the kids said thank you to the participants, maybe there is some hope for our youth.

  • Comments: my two beefs were the traffic control when turning left AND merging with traffic towards the end of bike course AND the announcement by race director that people could cut in line if they felt they could swim faster (this was a seeded start)...

  • Comments: My first one, but seemed extremely well organized. The bike course was especially well run, considering that none of the roads were closed, and we had to move from right to left across several multi-lane roads in order to make turns. Plenty of Police/volunteer support to keep us safe. I would highly recommend this race to others. It's hard (they kept saying it's one of the hardest sprint distance races in the state), but it was fun and well put together.
