  • Comments: Other than the cold and the rain this was a fun event. Purdue Pete was there. The Boilermaker Special started the race with some toots from the train whistle. The even had one of the Purdue choirs there at the start to sing the National Anthem. I was really happy with my finish time. I went much faster than I expected to! I kind of had to laugh at placing in my age group. I think all the other 30-34 year olds were doing the walk not the run!
