  • Comments: Great venue and race for the family only word of advise is the pre-race instruction was not real great (rushed to stay on time )

  • Comments: Really is a great race. The entire organization should be proud. Only downfall would be that someone should tell racers to announce they are passing on the left and ONLY pass on the left... saw a lot of drafting, passing on the right and passing without warning.

  • Comments: This race is not part of a series so it has more of a small event feel to it. Was still organized and run well, just not elaborate. No vendors, no opportunity to buy anything. Having parking right next to the course was a welcome luxury.

  • Comments: good race nice set up but the bike course has a lot to be desired. Because it is so short (5km) there is a lot of congestion in the 2 90 degree corners. Jockeying for position before the corner, getting through then back up to speed took a lot of time. The potential for an accident is high in these areas.

  • Comments: I think I made the right decision about the DNF, it just wasn't worth the effort to change the tire in the rain on this type of race. I have my first olympic distance race in 5 weeks so I have that to look forward to and I will say my prayers to the tire gods to protect me from flat tires on race day.

  • Comments: Good local race org. Too bad about the weather. But I finished my first real tri since Vancouver Worlds, solidly MOP, actually top 1/3 in my AG (7/21). Not even BOP on the swim (12/21) even though my frozen shoulder is not 100% recovered. Bike (5/21) and run (8/21) were both respectable, but surprised my run didn't even place me top 1/3 of my AG.
