  • Comments: For mey first tri - it was an absolute blast; the swim was my worst segment and difficult with all of the bodies; need to work on this most; also need to get a bike the fits me better and push myself all around harder

  • Comments: Overall good event organization, except for a few areas. Getting results after the race was painful, had to stand in a long line. Orientation before the race was not done. Not enough volunteers directing people in and out of transition area. Lots of people were riding their bikes in transition area which presented some safety issues.

  • Comments: Other than the awful sand finish, this race was a lot of fun (and the sand finish was pretty funny, anyway). It was well organized, and I love all-female races that focused on first-timers. There's just an excellent aura to them -- very supportive, very encouraging, lots of smiling and laughing. I was happy to be a part of it.

  • Comments: Was nicely organized. Wish they had medals instead of necklaces. I can't believe they finished it on a beach, and the finish line and timing chip mat were at different places. It also sucked that the finish line and the swim to transition area course was the same. I had to dodge Duathlon finishers while running up a hill to transition. Paul says "Good goodie bag." Overall a good race, but the race course needed help.

  • Comments: For my first race, it was just right. A lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this race to another first timer.
