  • Comments: Well organized race. They had enough food for everyone and the shuttles were useful too.

  • Comments: This was just a Sunday morning jog for me and only the second organized race ever for my daughter. Our goal was just to go out and have some fun and maybe continue the spark towards running and just being active for her. She struggled mentally a couple of times, but she stuck with it and exceeded her 45 minute goal. She only walked 0.2 of the 3.1 miles. She did great and I am so very proud of her. I look forward to this event every year since they do such a great job with this event. The focus is on the kids and getting them to lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy my competitions the rest of the year, but this is my favorite event of the entire year. Go Nike! By the way, in this their 10th year here in Hawaii, they topped $1 Million dollars contributed to Hawaii school athletic programs. I highly recomend this race to anyone, especially if you have kids.
