  • Comments: Overall i would say this is a great race for any beginner. It is laid back. I switched from the Olympic to the Sprint the day before the race. The bike is a little challenging with some hills, but not anything like the hills near Madison. The run is nice being on a private road through the woods. All shade and even though there are two decent hills, it is an out and back so what goes up must come down. Great organization and course was very well marked. Post race has good food and the Green Lake area is a beautiful place no matter what you decide to do. Having only done distance running events in the past, I don't have much experience in ranking events, but i would say this event is great!!
