Comments: This race felt less organized than last year. Having done this race last year made up for most of the lack of communication, but my friend doing it for his first time had trouble finding a lot of the logistic info a racer might need.

Comments: There were a lot of good points about this race but some not good things. The starting line up was bad - Oly elites, sprints and then Olys with the 40+ Oly females last. The elite's had to make a left around the same buoy the first waves of the sprinters were making a right around it. Awards were going on while I was in T2. Giveaways were a separate sign up while I was on the course. There was no hot food left when I got to the food line. Food was sold to spectators when there wasn't enough for the racers. Also have to note the misspelling on the finisher's medal - Battle for the Buff

Comments: The format with the Oly going after the sprint led to a strange two-part race. My wife won her age group yet by the time she finished her race the sprints and elite awards were done - most of the prizes had been given away and all the hot food was gone. When I went through the line (I waited to cheer her in before went to get my food) I was told that they only had cold veggie sandwiches remaining. When I said I was dissapointed (no anger) the volunteer told me I should have run faster?!? The age group awards are really nice - and they had an entire second award ceremony for the Oly but by then most of the crowd had left with the lousy weather.
