  • Comments: Great place for a Thanksgiving Day race. Sunny - but windy and cool. I heated up too much during the race but was pretty happy with my time and averaging a 8:23 pace. I was shooting for a 8:15 pace but the course for MUCH hillier than I expected. It was fun doing a race with my wife.

  • Comments: This was a good race for me. It was a little disappointing that the race got off to such a late start (20+ minutes late start). Nice conditions for running fast this morning, sunny, clear skies, light winds out of the NW, temps. in the low 40's. Large race field. One of the race organizers told me it was a record size - they anticipated 2,300 participants would show up this morning. Despite the size of the crowd and much of the race being on narrow asphalt paths, after the first mile, I did not feel crowded among other competitors.

  • Comments: After getting number and pkgs. we did not see start line or second stage for relay. Could not find any officials to ask. Just followed the crowd and hoped for the best. Never heard a gun, but everyone just started running so I followed, hoped my relay partner found his stage. Poor staging and route marking. Never knew for sure where we were going.
