  • Comments: This race really attracts many novices with an Oly going off an hour later. So my rankings need to be put in that light (ie. 5th overall bike split)

  • Comments: Wonderful race. Nice flat course. Right after the race, they had problems with incorrect ages in the results. For 15 minutes I thought I had finished second in my age group. Once they were straightened out, I dropped to fourth. So close!

  • Comments: The confusion with the swim start was almost a big SNAFU. Luckily we figured it out with enough time to get to the correct location. Some signage would have been helpful. Especially since the swim direction changed 3 times before race day. Another water station at the run turnaround would have been very helpful. And, again, their bike distance was off. Oh, and greasy pizza afterwards was not appetizing. The fruit was good but the pizza was gross. Other than that, there were plenty of volunteers and police. I'll be back next year.
