  • Comments: This was a good race for my first sprint distance. I would ask the RD to reevaluate the transitions for next time as well as check the distances on all three legs. All three seemed much longer than what they were supposed to be. Overall, I am pleased with my performance in this race. I exceeded my personal expectations. I wanted to finish at around 2 hrs, I did. I wanted to give more on the bike leg this time, I did. I wanted to survive the run, I did, AND I did it without walking at all, a BIG accomplishment for me. So, I am VERY happy with how I did. :-)

  • Comments: The swim start and the bike start were both way too far from the transition area. I met Jen (keepitup), Mark Benton and his wife and another yount BT'er from Tweed Ontario (sorry I forgot your name and BT handle!). My brother JP (IceT2) competed and finished a few scant seconds behind me! If he ever gets a decent bike, he will kick my flabby old butt!!!!
