Race Reports for University of Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Triathlon

Comments: This was my 2nd triathlon. It took me almost 30 minutes figure out where to park. No signs were posted directing you where to park. I noticed a lot of people were driving around trying to figure out the same thing. Also wish they could do this race earlier on in the fall when its warmer. no race chips for this race so I'm wondering how accurate the times really are. Still had a good time, friendly, encouraging triathletes and volunteers, and the race directior promptly answered questions regarding the race. Despite the cold I'd do this race again next year.

Comments: Once the results were posted I noticed that they had posted my bib# and results for a women in the 25-29 age group. I think I could've posted a better bike time but still did OK. My son missed 3rd in his AG by 10 seconds. Had a fun year doing six races with three of those being with my son. This was the first race that we actually both raced hard and he beat me by 1.5 minutes. I've got to do alot of training if I want to keep up with him next year. Looking forward to next year.

Comments: This was my one year anniversary of doing tris. This was my first tri last year on Oct. 25. Finished around 6 minutes faster this year. Highest overall finish at any race I've done yet, 10th overall individual out of 205. Also third AG medal this year. Good way to finish a positive year, looking forward to next season already.
