  • Comments: Pretty well run and fun race, but organizers need to figure out how to get everyone to the beach in time to start on time. I'd suggest earlier shuttles and earlier closing transition closing time.

  • Comments: This race is always a nice season opener for the tri season. I like the RDs and they do a good job putting this on. They really need to think about kicking everyone out of transition 10 minutes earlier to get everyone to the swim start on time. This has never started on time in the four years I've run it. As far as my performance goes I was extremely pleased. I did fairly well on minimal training. A few minutes off my personal best here, but I crushed my horrendous time from last year's race by 8 minutes so that felt good to make up for that mess. I also had my best 5k split in a sprint by a few seconds so that was another good take away.

  • Comments: It is hard to rate this race, it's my first. It seemed organized and the volunteers were friendly and encouraging.

  • Comments: What a great race. The race directer stated that 1/3 of today's participants were first timers, myself included. This was an awesome and humbling experience and I can't wait to do it again. Next race is in three weeks and its an OLY. I can't wait. I have to add that my favorite part of the day was courtesy of my 3-year-old daughter. She is all about Mom all the time. However, following the race she stated that she was riding home with dad and it wasn't for debate. We road home with her singing along to her "Princess Songs". What a perfect end!
