  • Comments: Absolutely stunning course, probably one of the best I've raced in the area. The point-to-point swim along the bridge was a nice change of pace from the usual out-and-back courses, even if the rocky shore was tough on the feet. Bike and run were both a good mix of rolling hills and flats, with nothing too extreme. And the venue is just beautiful. I would definitely do this race again in the future (doubly so if they could start just a little bit later in the day...).

  • Comments: This is my 3rd year doing this event. Year 1=19th position age-group; Year 2=13th position age-group; this year I was hoping for a top ten at least and came away with a 4th place age-group placing. Love this course and event. I have been focusing my training on olympic and 70.3 distances all summer long playing around with the idea of moving up to those distances next year, so this short course sprint was a good race to really push a faster pace for me to see where Iam stacking up. Really pushed hard on this race knowing that my wife was making additional sacrifies on this day to make it possible for me to race. Even more rewarding then getting the 4th place AG placing was proving to myself that I could do the necessary training along with working full-time, and being a dedicated husband and busy father to two very busy young boys. This race was for them. This event is very organized each year and I think this is why it sells out so quickly! Watched US olympic hopeful Ethan Brown win this

  • Comments: Love this venue! Helps that I live next door and am able to train here all season long. With the exceptions of how the age-group waves started, I definately recommend this race and its organizers! This was the 10th anniversary of the Duxbury Tri, looking forward to many more. Its no surprise this race sells out quickly every year! Late September race can mean colder ocean temps for swimming, but the fast bike segment, and run course thru neighborhoods are great. Not to mention you never know which elite racers will show up to compete, many of who move on to the professional ranks eventually.

  • Comments: I bike, run, and swim this course or part off it all summer long since its in the town right next door. Great area to train. Usually not much traffic, great scenery, and its all neighborhoods. Only one crazy rotary which was very well patrolled on race day. Look forward to doing this race next year. Now I know why this venue sells out every year! Great course for first time/newbie athletes.

  • Comments: I like this race more now that they have only one transition area. It just feels easier...not such a big deal. I hope it stays that way for next year. I'll do it no matter what because its only a 15 minute drive for me.

  • Comments: fantasticaly great scenic venue, well organized, low key, great after race atmosphere. Only pet peeve is to mark the run course with mile markers. I mean, how hard can it be to put up sandwich boards with a '1', '2' and '3'!

  • Comments: I really enjoy this race. it's well organized. They had some of the streets closed to traffic. Plenty of volunteers at all the turns. I was disappointed that they ran out of water by the time I finished. I didn't see any food either. I would still recomend this race. Its a beautiful area and a fun, safe and scenic course.

  • Comments: Well organized in parts...registration, bike drop off, but ran out of water bottle and cups at finish, lack of food after race. Beautiful course, for MA pretty flat bike & run. I'd do this race again. Fun to see fun BT folks which makes all races better!
