  • Organised?Yes
  • Events on time?Yes

  • Lots of volunteers to help?Yes
  • Plenty of drink stations?Yes

  • Post race activities? Good
  • Overall course based on my ability: Just right

  • Comments: Event was well organized with enough volunteers staffed along the course! Weather was also perfect in the low 60s and overcast. Need to improve gear checkout as my bag had lost the tag and I was fortunate to be able to find it among a stack of tagless bags.

  • Comments: I think I found the distance I was born to run! I was always so scared of half-marathons, the training and the distance, and the time on the course were terrifying. It took me four training seasons to finally make an attempt. Running HM is such an amazing experience. I love every part of it (well, maybe except first 3 minutes, when my legs are trying to figure out wtf). Overall, I had a blast :)

  • Comments: Not a bad inaugural event. I would race it again, but would be concerned if the numbers of registrants grew to much.

  • Comments: This was an inaugural race, and they really did a great job with it. Tons of volunteers, everything was run pretty much on time and the post-race food was pretty tasty! (a catered breakfast!). The course was very scenic, and only crowded for the first mile or so. Probably only two downsides: the gear check procedure needs to be refined because the line was huge and not moving fast, and while you get a tech t-shirt, there was no actual goody bag, which I kind of missed. Overall, I highly recommend this race. I signed up race morning, but I'm going to guess that it's not going to take long before this race fills up beforehand and won't allow race-day registration.
