  • Comments: This race was the perfect cap to an amazing year of training. Was satisfied with the result considering that a year ago I had never done a triathlon.

  • Comments: Wow, Ironman #7 is done!!! Ironman is a crazy thing, it draws some to it and causes others to stand in awe. For those of us who race Ironman, there is something in our soul, in our spirit that says "yes, YOU can do this!" There is a need and a desire that can only be quenched by the Ironman finish line. I AM AN IRONMAN, it is not something I do, but part of who I am. There is a special bond among us that are part of the Ironman family, not one of superiority but one of respect and a common thread of understanding what it takes to get to the finish line. If you managed to read all of this, I'm impressed! I would like to thank my family, you may never understand why I race long, but you support my choice of insanity.   • Comments: The volunteers and course were excellent. Pre-race and post race were okay but not too amazing. They ran out of swag bags and pizza which left a bad first and last impression on me. Love the course and glad that Challenge will be stewarding it.

  • Comments: Previous participants told me that this was a great race; from the course, to the volunteers to the spectators/local residents. I was not disappointed. The final run to the finish was amazing, never thought I would hear a crowd roar for me. I hope Challenge keeps up the atmosphere of the race as that what really makes this special. I would race this course again.

  • Comments: This is my first, and the last Ironman Canada at Penticton, so I was happy to finish where I did.

  • Comments: Too bad this is the last IMC in Penticton. Looking forward to seeing where it will be next year. The Challenge group will host a Ironman distance race in Penticton next year. I am tempted to sign up when it becomes available because I know I do much better. Sub 12 hours is in my reach!

  • Comments: Loved the course. I'm pretty sure I'll be back even with the change in race management because this is simply a spectacular venue.
