  • Comments: This is a fun race with good organizers. They tackled last minute problems and oncoming challenges even up through the awards. This year, the Clydesdale and Filly Racing Association named this their 2007 Long Course Championships. As such they were paying out 250, 150 and 100 to the top three Clydes/Athena's. Also, they broke out the categories into 3 weight classes within 2 ages groups so there were plaques etc available all around. Because they took the top three out of the weight/age groups it seems like practically every Clyde will walk away with hardware.

  • Comments: All in all it was a good race. I've got a lot to do before IMCdA but I'll get it done. Woo Hoo. It's over.

  • Comments: Volunteers were great. Plenty of aid stations. Missed the post race activities so I can't say how they were. Race was organized and everthing seemed to go well. Finishers medals were good as was the sweatshirt. Nothing special in the shwag bag. Weather is the biggest factor in how tough this course will be. The wind can be a killer.

  • Comments: So I didn't finish when I wanted. I crapped out on the run. But I did finish and I guess that's all you can ask of a person. And when I got home I donned that Harvest Moon sweatshirt. I had paid for the race but I definitely earned that shirt. I slept in my sweatshirt and medal. Is that dorky? OH, I JUST FOUND OUT I WON THE ATHENA DIVISION. WOO HOO. I EVEN GOT HARDWARE
