  • Comments: I wanted to go below 50 minutes on this race and possibly win. I came close on both, but the 50 minutes wasn't going to happen with that swim. And I can handle 2nd place. "Win a triathlon" will just have to be a goal for next season.

  • Comments: Really didn't like the bike course or the run course. Even the water seemed remote from the transition area due to the high sand dunes. The race venue was in a little too remote of an area for my liking.
